Is devorce decree required for I-130

I dont know if anyone has ever the same problem as me, but it doesnt hurt to ask: I recently got married to a US citizen, and now we are about to file our I-130. Since he was married before, i know he needs to attach a divorce decree, but it is pretty much impossible, since he was married abroad, no relatieves there to help, and its very far and expensive to travel there for him :(

If he does not have a copy of the decree he ought to contact the court / office that issued the divorce decree.
