How long is it taking to get an interview after your case is completed?

01/15/2005 - Met at school

07/01/2007 - Engaged

11/08/2007 - Kingston our first child was born

06/22/2008 - Married

12/17/2009 - Trinity our second child was born

07/22/2010 - sent off our I-130

07/27/2010 - I-130 Received at USCIS Lockbox

08/08/2010 - NOA 1

11/09/2010 - updated

11/02/2010 - moved from CSC to TSC

11/02/2010 - updated

11/03/2010 - updated

11/24/2010- transfered from TSC to USCIS office

11/29/2010- updated

11/30/2010- updated

02/11/2010- updated

02/25/2011- APPROVED!!!!!

NVC

03/14/2011- case# assigned

03/16/2011- filled out and submitted DS-261 (Choice of Agent)

03/20/2011- I-864 (AOS) bill invoiced and paid

03/23/2011- I-864 (AOS) bill showed as paid

05/07/2011- emailed AOS package

05/09/2011- IV invoiced

How long is it taking to get an interview after your case is completed?

It's currently around 2 months.

Currently they are booking for July....So that would be 3-4 months. I booked in January and my interview is in April. Unless more dates open up. You are looking at a 3-4 month wait for an interview after packet 4.

That's for K1 visas. The OP is an IR-1/CR-1 filer.

Our IV bill showed as paid on March 5th. Still haven't heard a word from NVC. Am I expecting it too quickly? should I be filling out some forms while waiting for instructions? We are going with the CR1. Any advice?

i dont think mine took too terribly long after case complete... just 2 weeks after i got my interview date :)

09/17/2010 - I130 Delivered (USPS Delivery Confirmation)

09/21/2010 - I130 USCIS Received I130 Email & Text

09/24/2010 - Form I-797C Received NOA1 Letter

12/20/2010 - Form I-797C Recieved NOA2 Petition Has Been Approved! (87 Days Since NOA1)

NVC

12/28/2010 - Case number and IIN generated

12/29/2010 - DS-261 Submitted (Online Choice of Agent) Submitted

12/30/2010 - AOS fee paid

01/07/2011 - IV fee paid

01/14/2011 - DS-260 Completed (Online IV Application)

01/24/2011 - AOS Package Received (Stupid snow storm delayed it)

01/27/2011 - Civil Documents for DS-260 received

02/01/2011 - Re Submitted DS-260 (Wrong number entered as Beneficiary ID)

02/10/2011 - AVR Says RFE for civil documents (False RFE, just had to wait for wife's package to be reviewed)

02/14/2011 - Sign In FAIL!

02/15/2011 - Case Complete!!!!

03/01/2011 - Interview Date Assigned (well 1:18am on March 2 best wake up ever!)

US CONSULATE - MONTREAL

03/23/2011 - Medical - Complete PASSED!

04/08/2011 - Interview

00/00/2011 - Visa Received

00/00/2011 - POE
