Patience - it's only been 5 business days total (and today isn't finished even) since your interview and I'm sure it sat in a pile for a day and then a mail room somewhere for another day - yes, we all know the wait is killer.

I had my interview on april 29th, I was approved, but ever since i check the CEAC site a few times a day and nothing has changed, its still says ready and last update of april 29th, any idea how long or what i can do to find out more info, a number to call and should i be e-mailing them or calling them daily, or sadly have to wait every day and grow frustrated waiting for a change, We want to be together and be married by the next week was our plan, because I read everywhere that K-1 visa in Montreal were processed and couriered within days of approval.

I am growing so frustrated , Go thru all these hoops, Two expense road trips to montreal for medical and interview do every thing they ask get approved and then made to wait for an unknow reason GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

any advice help , opinions etc would be appreciated

Hi Cruzzman, I guess you got your Visa by now. How long have you waited in total? I am in a similar situation right now. I've been waiting since Dec. 16th, and was approved.

My fiance had his interview Dec. 15th and was approved, no requests for extra documents or anything. Still waiting, and no updates on CEAC site since Dec 31. We knew it would be slower because of the holidays, but we're starting to get really antsy, especially since we've noticed several people received their passports and visas really quickly. Glad to know we're not alone in the waiting game. Well not glad, but you know what I mean.

Hang in there girl! I had similar experience and I freaked out (ended up waiting for almost 4 weeks after the approved-on-spot interview). Had tons of trouble since my lease ended and I had to stay with my friend for the time being (had to move all my stuff into a storage unit). I made a few attempts contacting them and I gotta say it doesn't help at all (I told them, I arranged the wedding - even though it's just civil. Yet they keep saying "there's nothing we can do, it's just normal procedure blah blah blah)

It'll come eventually, yes the holidays etc. might slow things down but it's moving, just slowly.

Good luck!

I-751 (ROC) Approved

08.18.2018 I-751 extended for 18 months (through October 2019)

04.24.2019 Combo Interview (with N-400) approved

N-400 Approved

01.01.2019 Qualified for N-400 application

01.02.2019 Filed N-400 Online

01.22.2019 Biometrics Appointment

03.18.2019 Interview Scheduled (USCIS text notification & appointment letter online)

04.24.2019 Combo Interview (with ROC) approved

05.16.2019 Oath Ceremony

Thanks for sharing that, spielerin! I think the worst thing is not getting any information about what's happening or what specifically might be causing it to take so long. All they'll tell us is that it's "under consular review". We've been racking our brains trying to figure out what could possibly need so much reviewing about our case. Waiting wouldn't be half as worrisome if we knew why and what they're doing exactly. Maybe we just got a slow case worker? Not exactly sure how it's all processed.

I'm glad you got your visa back within four weeks. We're nearing that mark. Hopefully we'll get that beautiful little "Issued" update soon!
