Why don't the Protesters look like America?

Dayum, I know Wisconsin is not the bastion of "diversity" but have you ever seen a whiter crowd?

IF we look at the Demographics of Madison we see more than 20% of the people there are -other than white... yet the crowd is white as a Klan rally.

Oddly enough (or not) color was a huge part of the Tea PArty reporting but it never surfaces here.

Even with the crowds bussed in from other states... it seems only white peeps wanted to come.

I could see if this was a gay rights march or an environmental gathering (notoriously white) but does a union demonstration have ta be in Detroit to get a little color in the crowd?

One of the chief complaints about the Tea Party is that their rallies tend to be overwhelmingly white and the Tea Party has been accused by racists of being racist. (it is the favorite defense of racists) No facts are needed for liberals to call Tea Party members racist. Now the shoe is on the other foot. The liberals rallies and protests are looking lilly white and they say "who, me?"

I think the key difference between the two is the lack of placards and signs in Wisconsin depicting a black man as a chimp

Wisconsin is a state that is 91% white...it makes sense that their public sector workers reflect that reality, though I have noticed several protesters that were not white

There were plenty of them carried at other protests by liberals. The insults cut both ways. So what what is your point?

I asked because I was thinking the same thing as John. I wouldn't necessarily call it racist (I'd have to see it) but similar to the signage used for GW from 2003-2008.

Liberals for assuming the protests have a racist edge...unless you were referring to liberals in general and not the protestors - which while I disagree with you - I understand your logic regarding the welfare/slavery concept.
