Yay, now its 'proof.'

But talking about mental disease... DSM-5 is less than 2 years away. Will internet personality disorders be better characterized by then?

Whoever it was was a dueche but that does not mean this email and some other over the top comments represent Unions or all Union members as a whole.

Here is a thought, why don't you give up being a partisan hack and recognize this issue as with most in life, are not cut and dried. Oh ya, that isn't the gospel of Faux News...

It's a start (sarcasm) but when you post about an email, thinking you have proven what is the Faux News issue de jure; unions are greedy, violent defilers of all that is good, right and true blue American, you show signs of hackdom.

The emailer is a duesche on that we agree, and there were also pretty over the top statements made as well. These things reflect on the individuals responsible for them, not the Unions or their members as a whole.

Thank you pointing out something that is much more than obvious. Will this get you labeled a silly liberal?

This was a story, nothing else. It had nothing to do with Faux news, that is your political hackery showing.

So not liking unions makes me a political hack? On what side? I am also in favor of single payer. I thought the wars in Iraq and Afgan were huge mistakes. I voted for Obama. So am I a liberal hack? Please tell me what side you think I am a hack for?

One more thing, I have hated union long before Fox News was ever thought of. My hatred goes back all the way to when I was attacked when I was forced to cross a picket line. I had eggs thrown at me, I had my work van spray painted and my tires popped. Don't tell me my opinions came from Fox, they were gained on a very personal way. Unions are filled with thugs and crooks. That is why I hate them.

I would believe that. Its something I've seen in some places. Just as I've seen the opposite, unions working the way they're supposed to while management using any possible technicality to use corporate security against its employees. It depends on what kind of power is held and how its used.

Oh I could tell you some stories. I even was in the NEA at one point working in the maintenece department for a school district. I had the nerve to ask that the portion of my dues that go to political donations be returned, which was my right at the time. Needless to say my job was eliminated within a few months and suddenly needed again a few months later.

Pardon my laughing.

Just the same as when two coworkers were joking about unionizing at a store a long time ago. They were summarily fired that same day when the MOD got wind of the 'joke'. You will find pigheads on all sides of a story. Its the American Way to think one's side is immaculate while the other, not so much.

As an aside, I think many union activities are in place to make them look bad anyway. Hence by default, workers end up getting the shaft and corporate interests get more than taken care of.
