German Shepherd!

Wow - A German Shepherd? They're in the top count of intelligent dogs. Is he/she a puppy? Sometimes intelligent dogs can be even more mischeivious then seeming dumb dogs. Glad he/she didn't get hurt in the chew!

Haha hes almost 1 but he is pretty defiant, he knows his commands but he gives this look that says " FU I do what I want! " The only way to get him to come inside from being in the yard is yelling " COOKIES!!!! " otherwise when you say " COME! " he stands there and stares at you for a few mins then goes back to sniffing the grass.

My husband says the dog has down-syndrome ( I know thats not a nice thing to say but it often seems like it at times )

haha. What he has is "puppy syndrome" cuz he'e still in his first year. If you've had dogs before from at least 3 months old on, then you know that he'll be a lot different after he's about 18 months to 2 yrs. Puppy year is hell!! If you don;t have that experience then you will be pleasantly surprised at how he will change in behavior in that 18 month - 2 yrs period.

Dogs are so cool! Pain in the butt sometimes, but still great!
