Calling USCIS

Hi,

Im trying to get through to USCIS I've called the number followed the prompts but every time i enter my receipt number it says that it's not correct. I've tried all the calling "tricks" mentioned in the forum but none of them get me to a live operator!

I'm not sure if it's due to the letters in the receipt number at the beginning EAC. how am i meant to enter those in?

The receipt number number works online through "check my case status"

you must enter the EAC, that is part of the receipt number EAC is 322 then you enter the rest of the numbers

When you call the number, press "1" then press "2" and then press "6" to speak with a Representative. Do not waste your time with the first rep that answers the phone. Ask to speak with a Tier 2 rep. I just got off the phone with one.

Just got off the phone also, they said we "should" hear something back in 12 days.
