How long does it usually take to receive the RFE letter? I got the email/text that it was sent out a week ago, but so far nothing has shown up. Just wondering if it's normal to take a long time to receive the letter or if I should be worried. I'm assuming it's coming from the National Benefit Center which isn't that far from where I live. I figured that it would have shown up by now. Here's what it shows on the USCIS site:

Request for Evidence 03/04/2011 I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Initial Review 02/28/2011 I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Initial Review 02/28/2011 I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

My husband and I were hoping it would show up fast as he wants his EAD as soon as possible. I guess this is payback for the easy K1 process that we had!

It could be a week to 10 days and it would be at CSC or MO office for AOS. Once you have your Bio you will get EAD card soon after, your RFE is for your AOS so it wont affect your EAD, We got RFE'd for AOS and I still received EAD after Bio

No Barb you're incorrect. If you get ANY RFE it will paused EVERY file. It says it right there on the RFE. The OP will NOT receive their EAD until they successfully reply to the RFE.

In your case you got two RFE's:

RFE Received: 4 Nov 2010

RFE reply: 13 Dec 2010

EAD Received: 3 Jan 2011

RFE(s) : 3 Feb 2011

RFE reply: 9 Feb 2011

You received your EAD AFTER you had successfully replied to the first RFE, and BEFORE you received the second. Your post implies that you got your EAD while your RFE was pending, and you didn't. You got it only after you successfully replied to the RFE.

It showed up today, finally! Wanted the proof of status for the joint sponsor, which I totally forgot to submit with the application, so an easy fix. Now I'm wondering where do I send this back to? Do I use the address that it was sent from or is there a specific one?

Never mind, just found the address on the form!
