What the fu3k is going on, 8mths Retro.????? I dont understand y they r so sloppy. They mail u to tell u that your priority date is current and start processing. Now u pay all your fees, submitted all your documents, complete your case and then retrogress and tell u they dont have any numbers. Then y the fu3k did u start processing my case if u F2A turning F1. Y couldn't they have known this and f2a is in the system they would have known that people filing for citizenships. Too much people work up there, them turn themselves into idiots. And how a man who apply for a Summer work in the US, should get a number over someone who waiting for 6 years? And nuff a dem Workers will run off and turn illegal immigrants, they prefer that? Y is the F1 category called first preference, lol, it should name last preference...

Mr Longawaiting1, with that type of mouth and attitude I can tell you now, you will have a problem adjusting here in the USA. You should continue with the no problem man attitude, and it will come soon. Good luck on moving forward.

I gave you the update in your other post ... didn't know it would upset up. I'm here to say stay calm and relax. They retrogressed due to the amount of people who applied in that visa category. People who applied for and receive the work visa got through quicker I know it would make sense to let the family member get the first preference. The Specialty workers also help to build the country that you will come to be apart of.

Nobody is being sloppy. There is a limited number of visa numbers available in each category each month, and they ran out of visa numbers. Not everyone applies for a visa as soon as their priority date becomes current, but they remain eligible as long as their priority date is current. The cutoff date retrogresses when more people apply than the available visa numbers. Retrogressed categories often catch up again when a new batch of visa numbers becomes available at the beginning of the fiscal year.

Cutoff dates and retrogression has nothing to do with anyone at Department of State screwing up. It depends entirely on how many petitions are submitted, and how many eligible people apply for visas. Nothing more.

no no no Life's Journey, u cant tell how i will adjust u don't know me i don't know u. I don't need to prove my intellect to anyone. I think i should be free to express myself and i'm not a fool, i know how to adjust to anything. I am a born yardie, sent myself through college, have a great career, i just need to further my studies overseas and since i am on file i did not apply for a student visa. I hope you adjust cause u sound like you're one of them who let people push u around...

Thanks for your replies! To all who replied to this post: any of u waited for six years on file? well if not u cant know how i feel, u can only give words of encouragement and thanks. But when u want to get personal now about me and my mouth and adjusting thats passing judgement. I've worked with the Good the Bad and the Ugly. I've held two managerial posts and one still present. So adjusting is a drop in the bucket. And besides, Jamaicans can be the biggest hypocrites, we know how to adjust to anyone anywhere...

ok you too demanding now... no they will not notify you - yuh too needy. Well this APRIL 2011 Visa Bulletin is the 7th of the Fiscal Year so it's to be assumed the FY WILL start over in September and so new visa numbers becomes available, and possible a JUMP in Most visa categories.

Mr. LAW, your post is not about expressing yourself, it's about how unclout you can be. The US don't owe you anything, but the US will open it's arms to those who wish to embark upon it's soil to be an asset, not one who wants to continue that ghetto attitude. I don't have to know you to have made the statement I made, because you painted the picture yourself with your own words.

A man is judged by his actions and you all by your self painted this picture with your own words. Mr. LAW, your post does not in anyway paint a picture of an educated man, but of one who thinks if they bully their way around they will get what they want.

No, I am not a yardie, but married to a yardie. I have encounter throughThur my journey with my yardie many with your mouth and attitude, and they find out the hard way that the US don't tolerate such short coming in the educated business world. Mr. LAW, am I a push-over no, but what I have learn is that you don't have to be brash to get what you want.

I always wonder, why do all JA's yell when they speak patios, it doesn't make the listener move any faster on your words, such as the un-proper words in your post didn't generate any quick responses.

To complain that no ones knows how you feel about waiting six years for this process is one you were aware of going into this process, you were not in jail, and in that time according to you were able to accomplish something, so time wasn't wasted.

OK… Back to Topic!

Here is one thing I don´t understand:

F1 World Wide retrogressed 8 months, but F1 Mexico and Philippines managed to move forward (same category). .. good for them, but I´m just trying to make some sense of it. As I understand there are more applicants from those 2 oversubscribed countries than the rest of the world all together … but they still managed to move forward … so that may be good news also for the rest of the world, may be next month we can see forward movement at last!

Well if Mexico and the Philippines did not have much movement because they retrogressed then the now bulletin created a small jump. Retro is a way to HOLD the bullentin/visa numbers.
