I have some question on the On-Line DS-156. Numbered as they are on the On-Line form.

20. Name and Address of Present Employer or School

If unemployed, do I leave blank or enter Unemployed?

22. When Do You Intend To Arrive in The U.S.?

I don't know exact date because I don't know when she will get visa. Do I leave blank?

26. How Long Do You Intend To Stay in The U.S?

Well, forever unless we move back to PI after I retire. What should I enter here?

27. What is The Purpose of Your Trip?

To marry me with in 90 days and live happily ever after. Again, what should I enter here?

32. Do You Intend To Work in The U.S.?

Eventually but not until EAD. It asks for name and address of employer.

33. Do You Intend To Study in The U.S.?

Eventually but not right away. It asks for name and address of school.

I know that some of the answers might seem obvious, but I don't want to answer wrong so any help is appreciated.

John

36. Has Anyone Ever Filed an Immigrant Visa Petition on Your Behalf?

Well this is for a non-immigrant K-1 visa so I guess the answer is NO??

Answer is yes. K-1's are treated like immigration visas, and that will be the section that will issue the visa.

Don't read too much into the questions. Any incorrect entries will be repaired during the interview.

Another question. Does the Philippines have a National Identification card? This is also asked for on the DS-156. My fiancée isn't sure if her Social Security card number is her National ID number.

Hello! I accidentally clicked the month September instead of October on my date of arrival, I didn't notice until I've clicked the continue and was shown to me the completely filled out form. Is it okay that my arrival date I have entered is earlier than the date I have figured I will be arriving in the US? Thanks! :)

Do you realize you posted to a 2-year old thread? You should've started your own thread.

But I don't think it matters. It's possible to arrive then, though highly unlikely.

You are fine, don't worry about the date. Just so the "important" data is correct.
