how do we find out what is going on @ NVC with our case?

anyone can explain me please how we can find out informations at what point is our case right now ?

we sent all papers 6 days ago to NVC (last one was DS-230 and we paid all fees,my understanding is there is nothing else to send anymore) and they received it last monday.

Now what? How we can find out if our case is complete and HOW LONG IT usually TAKES? Do they usually send email if case is complete?

should we just call NVC and talk to operator each time we need new info?

You can call and use the automated system to verify they received your file. If it says it has not then speak with an operator as the system may not be up to date. The normal time seems to be about 4 weeks for NVC processing. I would not call daily but once a week won't hurt anything. Good luck and relax, the process is winding down.
