My 129F package was supposed to arrive at the vermont cc Thursday by FedEx and so far no NOA1 looking at other peoples timelines it looks like they may have recieved there notice the same day as arrival or day after should I be wondering what's going on or do they sometimes sit in a basket for a few days.

I waited 25 days. Vermont should be faster than NSC/CSC, but there are no guarantees.

Good luck.

I sent our petition to VSC on the 31st and had the NOA1 7 days later, of course I did not know the exact date until I got the paper in the mail. Note the only sign something is happening at first is that the check has cleared the bank.

Since your package arrived there only yesterday give them a week to 10 days.

This is the beginning of a very long process and getting worked up a day after they received it wont help you.

If you have been reading any of the other posts on this site consider yourself lucky VSC tends to move fast.

There are many that use CSC and are waiting for approvals from as far back as Feb.

I like to say "patience grasshopper!"

What if they paid by money order?

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I hope not, though money orders are like cash, they are also a bit of a pain to track.

I would wait 2 weeks then if nothing in the mail, then contact the issuer of the money order to trace it to see if it has been cashed. All money orders have a receipt.
