We did concurrent filing and sent out the forms last thursday. I was just wondering if I can do early walk-ins just in case the appointment USCIS will give me wont fit my busy schedule. By the way im from San Diego. :)

SEP 07 2007 - Entered US w/ B2 Visa

NOV 29 2009 - Met my USC wife

OCT 14 2010 - Got married in San Diego

MAR 03 2011 - AOS package sent to USCIS

MAR 07 2011 - AOS package received by USCIS

MAR 29 2011 - Notice date for all forms

APR 01 2011 - NOA1 receipts arrived

APR 04 2011 - Biometrics appt letter arrived

APR 06 2011 - Biometrics walk-in successful

APR 29 2011 - Notice date for I-485 Initial Interview

MAY 04 2011 - Received Initial INTERVIEW LETTER!

MAY 13 2011 - Received EAD/AP card. Applied for SSN

MAY 19 2011 - Social Security card arrived

JUN 07 2011 - AOS INTERVIEW - Approved!!!!

JUN 10 2011 - Card production ordered!!

JUN 15 2011 - GREEN CARD Arrived!! :)

if the ASC can accommodate you they will.

05/13/2011 (Day 65) EAD received in the mail
05/14/2011 (Day 66) Email confirming EAD approved (Case updated online TOUCH)
05/20/2011 (Day 72) SSN In the Mail.

09/08/2011 (Day 200 ) Email notification of Interview.
10/11/2011 Interview at 26 Federal Plaza, NY!
Interviewed and Am expecting RFEs!
10/13/2011 (Day ***) Received RFE-- Requesting that I provide documentation to prove I was never married in Uk or Illin
02/11/2012 (Day ***) Service request..Told its being reviewed by supervisor

24th March 2012!!!!!!!!!!! Email notifiying me of CARD IN PRODUCTION
03/26/2012 (Day 376) Emails confirming that my I-130 and I-485 have been approved.

4/2/2012 Green Card In Hand!

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

3/24/2014 Application for conditions to be removed

9/22/2014 APPROVED without interview.

I think so.. I entered US with Tourist Visa.

I did an early walk-in at Chula Vista and there was no problem at all. In fact I was the only person there! I would recommend going in the afternoon around 3.30pm like I did. Good luck

11-09: Met in Vietnam, backpacked then lived together in Oz

09-26-10: Came to the US

11-19-10: Got married

12-10-10 (Day 0): Posted package (I-130, I-485 and I-765)

12-12-10 (Day 2): Package received

12-17-10 (Day 7): Received text and email confirmation, and checks cashed

12-20-10 (Day 10: NOA1 hard copy received

02-28-11 (Day 80): Biometrics letter received FINALLY!

03-01-11 (Day 81): Successful biometrics walk-in

03-02-11 (Day 82): Card production ordered!

03-12-11 (Day 92): EAD card received

03-16-11 (Day 96): Notification of interview scheduled for April 15!!!!!

04-15-11 (Day 126): Interview-Greencard approved!!!!!

ROC

02-27-13: I-751 sent

03-03-13: NOA1

I did an early walk in today at the Chula Vista office. The security guard was very nice and comprehensive. The problem I had is I never received a fingerprint appointment notification.. I called several times to the 1 800 phone service and they tried to help but they didn't seem to be able to access much info.. after a month of not receiving anything and a "undeliverable message" on my case status online I decided to schedule an appointment on my local office to get more info using the infopass website.

I strongly advice anyone having any kind of problem with uscis notifications to get an appointment early your local uscis office without having to wait as much as I did. The people who try to assit you over the phone are very nice but they don't seem to have access to your real information, I think they just follow the guidelines but they don't have access to your personal information.

So I went to my local office explained a problem and got issued a fingerprints appointment today (the appointment date was supposed to be in December)! In total it took me 60 days to get that appointment! So I ran to the chula vista office and explained my situation and thankfully they were very open and they understood my rush and let me in.

It was such a big relief to have the fingerprints done today.. and some hours later I checked my case status on the USCIS website and my I765 (work permit) status showed CARD DOC. PRODUCTION! I am so happy about this.

I hope this info is helpful for anyone going thru the same problem as I did... I was going crazy waiting for the mailman everyday for 60 days!
