So finally we were granted an interview date... for MAY 3rd. By then we will have waited FOUR MONTHS for it since case was completed in NVC.

I am floored.

Are we holding a record or are there others out there that share our pain? :crying:

you are very lucky. you just had case complete in jan. I have been completed since December and it might take a year to two for the interview. Count your blessings. Accra Embassy is 'backlogged'.

Feel fortunate, some have to wait 9+ months for an interview.

Thanks guys...wow :blush: I had no idea that things can take even as long as over a year to wait for an interview I am sorry to hear that...how do you cope, the wait is so long as it is to be seperated once you get to this point? It is so frustrating to know to on a stand still and have your life on hold so to speak.

NVC emails the petitioner, beneficiary (and agent if you have one) when you get the interview date.

how do we find out the interview date?? should we call or?????????

Check your embassy's website. There is usually a link for appointments. You can also call NVC to ask about interview dates. Neither applies if NVC has not approved your application. I called once per week once approved and at the 3rd week was told my interview date.
