Congrats but with due respect --it was none of the following you mentioned . It was because yr fiancee was from the Dominician rebublic that yours was expedited . Maybe I ask my fiancee to have a vacation in Haiti or Dominician Rebublic so we can be approved :lol:

Okay, I'm slow. What do you mean by that? Why would fiancee being from DR get automatic expidite? Can you explain that comment? Wouldn't have anything to do with President Obama would it? I hope not.

In no way bragging...I had low hopes upon finding out that Vermont was moving at the speed of a slug! My NOA1 date was in late January! So I open my messages expecting to see an RFE and was dreading it! Imagine my shock when I see my petition approval or NOA2 and that its heading to the Natl Visa Center! OMG!!

My advice to to others...use Visa Journey's guidelines and form examples to maintain a thorough package and pray!!!!!

SO WHAT DID U SAY TO GET UR I-129F EXPEDITIED SO FAST LET ME KNOW PLEASE

2/03/11 NOA1 received and file is at the Vermont Center.Case number assigned.
6/10/11 NOA2 received.Approved!!!
6/13/11 Hard copy of NOA2 received.
6/28/11 NVC case number received. Case sent to Paris.
7/18/2011 Packet 3 sent out
7/20/11 Packet 3 returned by certified mail
8/31/11 Interview (Approved with two pieces of paper needed)
9/29/11 Visa received.
10/03/11 POE Cincinnati (Thanks to Delta now Atlanta) 5 hours to pick her up is worth it.

Congratulations! We waited almost 5 months for our NOA2 and 3 months at NVC...as far as I've seen on here there is NO favoritism with DR loved ones! Good luck on the rest of your journey!!

And where are you getting this information about petitions being expedited for Dominican beneficiaries? I wish it were true because I would not have had to wait 150 days for NOA2!!!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

If that were true they must have completely ignored my case file because I'll be reaching the 5 month mark in two days and I've heard nothing yet...no RFE or approval.

Congrats to the OP :dance: You probably did get lucky but I agree that it is good to be prepared and it will help you in the long run. I wish you and your significant other luck with the rest of the process. Keep us posted :)
