Hi all VJers,

I and my wife plan moving-in with my sister. Our ROC submission will be 1 year from today. Does it raise any suspicions or make things complicated with USCIS? Do we need submitting old and new driver ID altogether for filing ROC?

All your input are appreciated.

It shouldn't be an issue really. You can move around the country all you want... Just be sure to always check in with USCIS by filling at least the AR11 for the beneficiary(gc holder)for they wanna know where you are at all time. The sponsor too has to submit a form and that one you have to mail in, I don't know what is the number for it tho. But the good thing about the AR11 is you can file it online at the USCIS website and submit it there. You have to do it till 10 days after you have moved to the new address(meaning after you have moved to a new address you will have ten days to file AR11) or it might be held against you. I just submited my ROC and didn't submit no current ID except for the front and back of my Green card which you have to include in your packet. I just filed it using my current address. I did move three times since filing AOS and I did make it a point to file AR11 for each time. I even move during the AOS and after filing AR11 I received receipts and did also receive my EAD and Green card at my new address then. But I did not receive any receipt tho for my other moves so if you dont receive anything dont panic. I did however receive a reminder letter per USCIS to not forget to file for ROC 90 days prior to my GC expration date during last summer(2010) at my current address...

One other thing: Make sure you do the change of ADDRESS at the post office and be sure to keep those receipt the USPS will send you at your new address showing you did the change since you will use that as evidence too.
