How long will a K3 visa take?

If a USC wanted to get a K3 for his wife in Poland, about how long would it take until they actually got her the visa? I know a myriad of factors can change this, but I am just looking for a general answer. Thanks

Unfortunately there is no K-3 visa anymore.

NVC closes the K-3 and is not processing them. They turn into CR-1.

Do not bother with K-3 at all as if you try to file for one it will slow down the CR-1 process horribly.

Without any red flags or filing problems, around a year. But it also depends on the country as, some can take much longer because of being put into AP.

The VJ average is 331 days for Poland. There are not many applications from Poland so your timeline may be a bit different.

It's more that some countries- big or small- are easier. Some countries routinely get extra background checks, such as the Middle East (esp. Muslim men); other countries are known as high fraud. Poland is neither, so as long as you make sure you have everything ready (check the Guides on here), you can get done within 8-10 months (also depending on which service center your petition gets routed to).
