Perhaps if it is effecting your relationship that badly it was not meant to be. For better or worse or immigration lines.

I agree with you this is too much I will relax once all this is over, this is really affecting our reationship and our health. And the worse is that they dont give any information. We have change our wedding plannes so many times that is not even funny anymore

You know as Amy said if its affecting your relationship now that's not a good sign. It is stressful and I know you don't get any information geese I never heard a word or knew what you guys do as I never had this site just did it all on our own. WE just waited and accepted that you are dealing with the government and it is always slow.:hehe: My now husband always looked on the positive side and we knew we would be together and with talking every day it kept us strong plus he was busy with work and I kept busy with my girls and reading and making a journal. I suggest you try and chill and not keep looking things up on USCIS as you will hear when you hear and least expect it. And if you have changed wedding pans so often when did you think this would all happen. Try and keep positive and chin up it does end I promise and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

true, i think everyone should try to remain as calm as possible and wait this out. But I think it is much harder to remain calm when you are beyond the "average" processing time or in our case where we are living together in a place thats currently in upheaval and waiting for them to analyze our expedite request is particularly hard. In some situations it is possible that a few weeks could actually hurt.

i am not quite agree with people saying, that if thr s much impact on relations its may never meant to be. The reason is different people handle long distance differently, but it doesnt mean that there wont be happiness in their lives together.

Afterall its government failing epically. To relax????????????????????? excuze moi..... what else should we do not to annoy those who are done with this part of journey?

While it is important to be calm, it is also important to be proactive. Don't just sit and hope that something gets done on your petition. If you are due to be processed, call them and let them know. Don't wait for them to get around to it. I didn't and I am now approved. Just be nice about it when you call them. Please and thank you, please and thank you. Living proof here that it does work.

That's exactly what I keep telling myself while stuck at NVC for AP. As a result of this additional wait, my fiancee decided to go ahead and have her mom visit her one last time in SPb for 9th of May festivities, etc. This pleases her and in turn makes me a little more relaxed.

Relax? Tell you what! I'll relax once Elena steps through the doors at Kennedy Airport in New York City and into my open arms.

The Vermont Disservice Center has declared total war on me, and I have no intention of standing down, not even for one second, until I have defeated this enemy.

Yesterday, March 7, was another supersonic day for California and another day of total failure for the total failures who run the Vermont Disservice Center. In other words, there was business as usual.

im not a USCIS fan,but you need to understand that you have two options, either keep on waiting and shut up,or withdraw your petition and go move to your fiancee's country and live with her.there are no other options, youre making the wait harder for everyone else. youre in the beginning of your journey and youre being an unbearable whiny little kid.

(I am NOT mentioning names at anyone, so if you read into this as I'm speaking about you, then maybe you should look at yourself and wonder why you think that.) I figure a lot of people here would benefit from taking a step back, looking at their entire lifetime, and then really seeing if waiting 5, 6, 7 months is REALLY worth all this anger and stress.

It can't be healthy for you.

Here's to good health for everyone here!
