hi everyone i would like to ask to those who already havee experience flying on a roundtrip ticket ( K-1 visa ).

ok recently I've purchased a one way ticket for my fiance to travel to United States... so obviously when i call the travel agency i ask for a one way ticket and she gave me a price of 895$ over germany with Lufthansa i love their service and that's why i bought my fiance a Lufthansa ticket.. everyone has their own opinion but ive had the best experience flying over Germany.. so she sent my fiance the ticket in his email..E-ticket...and i logged on to his email just to see the ticket :D and at the end of the e-ticket i saw something like this CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO ACCESS YOUR ONLINE ITINERARY ..so i clicked on that and guess what i saw >>> RETURN FLIGHT! aaaaaah i went crazy because ive already read on here that one guy had problem with a AOS because of his return flight. but he didnt cancel it which i know i would have to ... but im just scared if that is going to make problems for him at the airport. :( i called the lady at the travel agency and she is tryna tell me that return flight does not exist.. she deletes it...i just want to know if any of you bought a round trip ticket and what was your experience.. i would appreciate anyyyyyyy ansswers please..hes supposed to be here on March 24th and i really dnt want any problems . its not my fault she did not tell me it was a round trip ticket untill i called her back .. because the e-ticket does not show he has a return flight! only when u click on the link

Many people have done this because return tickets are cheaper. I did it as well and had NO issues.

Some people (since the person who had issues) have been calling and cancelling the return portion. I didn't cancel mine, I just let it die but that's what the person who got into trouble did so now I would just call and cancel if there is in fact a return flight.

Good luck. I personally wouldn't stress. Just call and cancel when she lands.

My husband had a return ticket. He had no problems at all. He arrived in the US in September 2010, and his return flight was for March 2011. We were going to just let it run out, but had to file for AOS later than we had expected, so we ended up just calling and canceling. Had no trouble at all canceling either. They even sent us the updated itinerary via email showing the return flight canceled. We also have a credit now for the remaining balance if we want to purchase another ticket with that airline before the end of the year. At least with United, who we used for his flight, there was no charge to cancel (just a charge to rebook the flight later if we decided to do so), so it was pretty fast and easy.

Then don't worry about clicking on the link he will be fine and if it does have a return date he can cancel that when he gets here no probs.Plus you have a receipt for a one way ticket that's all you need.
