Today I checked my e-mail to find out that the USCIS send me the NOA2 that I been waiting after 7 months... I just want to know what's the next step???? someone told me that I have to call the visa center to get a number or something like that a little advice here plese am totally lost... THANX...

It will automatically be forwarded from USCIS to NVC (takes approx a week, NVC will then process it and assign a new # to it which you can use when calling the consulate (a few days), then they mail it DHL to Juarez Consulate (CDJ) (2-3days), then it will take around 5 weeks before they mail you letter....

So basically you dont have to do anything right now.

congratulations on your noa2,you need to do a list of things, first read up on the guides up top of this page ,then we'll answer your questions,you need evidence of your relationship, letter of intent to marry,having met within the last two years phsically.1-134 affidavit of support,you need pay stubs, the most recent tax return,

Felizidades!!! Ha,ha they're both right... There are some things you need to get ready but you have a couple months still to get them done. Right now you can call the NVC to see when they receive your case and then when it leaves. After it has been sent to CDJ you will need to call NVC to get the new case number that you can then use to start calling CDJ to see when they receive your case and then when they send out your packet 3. This is all just to watch things move, you can just as rasily wait until the packet 3 comes in the mail and go from there. To see the forms you will need and to get a head start on them go to Embassy info, Mexico, Ciudad Juarez at the top of the page. You're getting close, now!!!

They mail you a visa appointment letter, that you use to get your medical and get into the consulate for your interview. K-1 has an open invitation though, so there will not be any date set for you. You go when you plan to go. The forms you need to bring with you are on this site : http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html except the DS-160 which they now require as well. The link to that is mentioned in the PDF 'packet' I posted the link to above.

My husband never received the letter, but I did. So, I just sent him the one I got, along with other papers I needed to send him, like the I-134/finances stuff. He used the letter I received just fine. If you have not received your letter, and you have confirmed with CDJ that your file is already there, then you can go ahead and plan your trip to Juarez and pick up a letter from the info window there. Several people from VJ have done that.
