obtaining an affidavit

How can i get an affidavit from my mom in Jamaica?.....is there a specific from i should send her to fill out? She is willing to do it, saying she knows about my marriage to my husband, but she does not know how to go about doing it. Any advise?

An affidavit is just her words describing your relationship.

As your mother, its normally things like times she has met/spoken to your husband, or things you have told her that make you sure it is real love.

Yeah i know that, but is there a formal way to do it?....should be typed and formally constructed?.....if so, how should it be done?

go to the top right hand corner of this site in the search area, and type in sample affidavits and you will see some

or just google it and you will get samples of how they should be constructed.

It is really the content that matters more thank anything.

I would suggest it be typed as it is easier to read, but other than that, just let it flow!
