We submitted our I-129F and got the NOA 1 in Dec, 2010 and we do not have a reply. I am curious why some people are getting their NOA2 from filing in Jan/Feb 2011???? WTH??? And they have beneficiaries in third world countries. Can anyone explain this to me? I was told they process them in the order they are received. We even tried an expedite and was denied so now we get to lose out on $30,000 because they decided not to grant it. I am very disheartened by this whole process.

I agree that having approvals from Jan and Feb filers is totally crazy but saying these beneficaries are from third world countries is IMO way out of line and irrelevant. Do you even know what "Third World" means?

Please do not take offense to what I stated. It was not meant to be derogatory. In a lot of my readings of this whole process, it states that beneficiaries in developing countries usually takes longer. That is all that was meant. I apologize if I offended anybody. This is such a stressful process and I believe we all need to stick together. Good luck to all.

My fiance has a business in the uk and had an offer on it but the buyer wanted it in mid April. My fiancé will have to keep the business longer because of the crazy process times that my lawyer states have gone from 3mo to now 7mo. The buyer wants it now and is not willing to wait. So we submitted for an expedite and gave a bunch of other evidence for it and they denied it. So now we are stuck without a buyer in this awful economy as well as he lost a job offer over here to because of it. He will most likely have to scrap sell his business now for much less than it is worth. That's why I'm annoyed by how people who filed to the csc in Jan and feb already have their noa2's.

It`s been exactly 5 months(Oct 7, 2010) since we received our NOA1 from the California SC( phone text message. snail mail a week later) I called USCIS today and the call left me a little befuddled. I was told that I was still within the 5 month processing time. So they will give me a reason tomorrow ? I was told the date they are currently working on K-1 cases from Sept 16,2011. However the VJ time line says NOV 7, 2010. Is this normal ?

Your 5 months was up on March 5th, no the 7th... 150 days. Same timeline here. Already wrote the congressman. An October 6 filer was approved as of yester, e-mail received today. Hopefully we are right behind them!
