I also had a local interview, but they told me right away whether the file will be transferred to NVC. If you got your NOA2 then it should be transferred to NVC, I'm not sure why you're waiting for a decision...

have you called USCIS, gotten a TIER 2 human, an ISO ? (see http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/gc_1221837986181.shtm#5 )

when ya get one, inquire for case status - you might have a nice surprise.

as far as uscis approval goes, it may or may not make a difference for yer 6 months living there, in the future, but

it all depends on when the casefile is re-adjudicated after the local interview.

timing, timeticks, are important here.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

It was documented (I-171 form).

I agree with Darnell. Some representatives are ####### and won't transfer you because they'll insist on helping you first. Allow them to, and if you're not satisfied, then ask to please speak to someone in tier 2. They'll do so. Good luck.

Called USCIS and they put in a service request. Did not get to talk to a Tier 2. I just wish this would all be over with.

Darnell: what do you mean time ticks? Is there a certain amount of time and then it gets cancelled?

Im going to make an infopass appointment tomorrow if when I call the USCIS and they dont help me again.
