Ok thank you so much!....also i am wondering if i will get A RFE because we don't have anything in both our names yet, because we just got married on January 22nd. So we just submitted evidence of the ongoing relationship we had, like letters, emails, receipts of exchanged gifts, letters from family congratulating us on our wedding and phone calls made to each other 6months bfore we met.

At the moment even filing G1145s with your cases does not ensure email notification.

I filed 3, one each with my AOS, EAD and AP - USCIS is choosing to ignore those and correspond via snail mail only.

When trying to add the 3 cases to my account so I could track online that way it took 3 weeks for the AOS receipt number to be recognised and to date the EAD and AP numbers are not.

Typical USCIS stuff ups at the moment I'm afraid!

From what I've gatehred from following people's timelines here, NOA1 usually comes within 2 weeks of sending the AOS, but some get it later, in 3-4 weeks.. so I wouldn't worry yet. You have a lawyer on your case, right? He should have realized to fill the G-1145 with th AOS, you should ask him to contact USCIS to check what the situation is with your AOS. How did you mail it? Did it have a tracking number? Do you know if the package has been delivered to a person / picked up from the lockbox?

I tried calling USCIS and they told me that it usually takes approximately 31 days. Maybe im just being impatient with this matter.. 2 weeks wont hurt right? Im just curious u got NOA already and im not, knowing that we filed the same day. I asked my lawyer any updates from USCIS, and i even asked him if the USCIS received the forms already. He said, " it takes approximately 4 weeks for the receipt notices to get our and your attention, just be patient. I will contact you once i receive the notices.. Contact my office too once you receive it."

Everyone has different timelines. Has the check been cashed? That may be a good indicator if there is movement on your case. I believe that you have to give at least 30 days before you start worrying that something may have gone astray. Some people get NOA1 faster than others and then it sits for months for NOA2. I dont think thats the part that we should be worried about.Im more interested to see when we all get interviews(for those in NYC)
