Hi all, My wife is freaking out because she has to get a Police Certificate from Mauritius... I don't want to bad mouth this country, but from what everyone says (including her mom) it'll take a billion years for us to get it. Is there a general procedure we should take in case we don't? Like a record of our communication with Mauritius etc...

She just sent all the information chronopost (3-4 bus. days mail) but she can't stop thinking about how it won't work out.

Thanks for your ideas.

Is there a friend or interested party in Mauritius than can go to the Ministery of Justice to request the report, obtain the report and then email and send it to you. Fortunately, Lena has an acquaintance there. She received the report by mail in Ukraine in 10 days. Email the US Embassy there and ask for their assistance if you are the US petitioner. Good luck.

Yeah, we have some people there. She's just uber freaking out at the moment. We're under a lot of pressure to get this happening! Thank you so much for your help!
