I made my husband call the NVC just now as I saw it was usual for them to only take about a week for London cases. He just called and they sent it yesterday! Were so excited as it really feels close now.

I know the next step is packet 3.....can i fill any of these forms out before they send it to me to save some time?

I-130 Process

NOA2 Approval recieved in the mail - 08/09/06

I-129F Process - With new form!

NOA2 arrived in mail - 08/26/06

NVC For I-129F

Arrived at NVC and Case # assigned - 08/28/06

Case Sent to London - 08/31/06

Packet 3 arrived - 09/13/06

Packet 3 Sent - 09-14-06

Medical - 09-21-06

Recieved Police Certificate - 10-03-06 (Took 34 days)

Packet 4 arrived - 10-04-06

INTERVIEW - 10-18-06 -APPROVED!

Yes, you can fill out some of the requisite forms in advance.

This gives me hope. The NVC hasn't received it as of today but I am hopeful for a receipt (and quick turnaround!) next week. Good luck with the next phase!

5.15.2006 - Lawyer submits I-129F to CSC (via overnight)

5.17.2006 - NOA1

5.30.2006 - Receipt acknowledged by CSC

6.23.2006 - CSC issues RFE by snail mail

7.5.2006 - RFE received by lawyer

7.10.2006 - Response to RFE sent to CSC (via overnight)

7.18.2006 - CSC acknowledged receipt of response to the RFE

8.24.2066 - Approved

8.30.2006 - Received the approval in the mail (I-797C, Notice of Action)

Yes, you can fill out some of the requisite forms in advance.

You will eventually need the I-864, but not until AOS. Getting ahead of myself here.

Make that the I-134 affidavit of support instead.
