Oh ok... Darn! we've been delayed in submitting the petition coz we had to backtrack all chat logs, emails and stuff.. My fiance had printed 800 pages of them that he'd include in the packet.

Yes, I'm the beneficiary and we never sent postcards or holiday cards for the past 2 years... We're gonna do that this year.

Oh believe me, you dont really need to submit chat logs, emails and stuff with the i-129F, becos we didnt really submit those, just few photos together and we got the noa2. I think its so crucial and important to bring all those stuff during the interview (which i plan to do so as soon as i get my schedule on march 9 =)....with that being said..GOODLUCK TO US!!!

They do not have time to be looking at all that stuff and to be honest as said before you do not have to show all this now 129f is that you have met in the last 2 years and your letter of intent to marry.

Ya, I guess it makes sense... We'll just exclude the 700-page yahoo chat logs and save it for the interview... hopefully..

Thanks for all the responses!

I just submitted maybe 4-5 emails over the span of our relationship, the last months phone bill that showed calls to and from Brazil, about 10 photos, and our Ventrilo log for the last month. The only snail mail envelopes that I submitted were ones that I received from family (such as birthday and Christmas cards) while I was staying there, to show extra proof (besides the passport stamps and airline tickets) that I was actually there during that time at his address. For the interview I just submitted the originals snail mail envelopes (sent copies with the petition) and the actual airline ticket stub things as well as a few more emails from the time the petition was filed and the interview, another more recent original cell phone bill (1 month) and another copy of our Ventrilo log. We never received any RFEs during our K1 process and they didn't even bother to look at the new and original evidence we submitted at the interview.

I have a question too, Me and my fiance have been together for over 4 years now, do i need to submit 4 years worth of evidence??

Not necessarily. Just collect SOME evidences from the past 4 years up to the present and you'd be fine. What matter is that you show them you have a consistent relationship up until you submit the I-129f.

USCIS will not care about copies of e-mails, etc. (evidence of bona fide relationship), but they will pass along the material to the consulate. In cases of "#######" consulates (Guayaquil, Ecuador has been one), front-loading the petition keeps the consulate from denying that this evidence exists.

In general, it's a good idea to have at least a couple of "snail-mail" pieces to show. Not every CO (or Immigrant Visa Unit Section Chief) will understand a 100%-electronic communication relationship.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
