O1 visa still pending since November ??

I really need some advice. My boyfriend applied for a o1 visa in Cairo egypt since November its been way past it and when we go to check it online it says this "You are kindly requested to send us an email on consularcaironiv@state.gov with the following format: [My case number ---- --- -- was submitted over 90 days ago and I have not received a response on it. Please, advise whether there is any additional information required of me.]"

this is too much we emailed them so many times its unreasonable as to why its taking so long and he needs the visa right away to travel, hes a professional athlete. he lives in NY which is legal he has a social security work papers and a job but he cant travel internationally because of this ...we asked our lawyer but they are no help they advice us to pull it out and reapply for the o1 visa in the uk. but he cant go back overseas..

so does anyone have any advice like im sure is there a number from the uscairoembassy to call he really need to travel we applied since (novemebr 1st 2010) and its March already!! they say its still processing already i mean we asked them if they need addtional info but it doesnt look like it

infopass, and try calling the 1-800-375-5283 press 123maybe with all the trouble in EGYPT the embassy is short staff of workers a lot of them left the consulate,good luck.
