Hallo,

some background :

I tried to enter the US on a B2 visa, for travelling. I got sent back at the port of entry for misrepresentation.

(On the visa application I put NO on the question if I have ever been a drug abuser) on the port of entry however I stated under oath, that I have smoked weed. (all in all only a few times in my life and only once before i filled ut the visa application) And there you go...Fraud... I was able to withdraw my b2 visa, and was put back on the plane with the next flight available. I am from Germany and now in Vancouver, canada on a work and travel permit, trying to spend a few weeks in the states. Therefore I am trying to get a new visa.

Now my problem is how to answer some question on the online application:

Has your U.S. Visa ever been cancelled or revoked? --- do i put yes or no, since i was able to withdraw it.

Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the point of entry? -------- obviously yes, but what do i put under explain ? for them it was misrepresentation, but back then I put no the the question if, i have used drugs(on the visa application), because i did it only once, didnt get high off it and thought i would risk having troubles getting a visa. Well but how to put this in words on the application, and how to explain it, without getting rejected right away???

and the last one : Are you or have you ever been a drug abuser or addict? this would be yes, but what to write ? ------yes I have smoked weed a few time ???

So this is a rather long post, I thank everybody for their advice!!!

I am not an expert on this but if admitting to drug use/smoking weed, will ban you from entering, and they documented the fact that you admitted under oath, I dont see a clear way around it, unless you can somehow retract your statement, I think you have a difficult situation. Sorry, i hope someone else can offer better advice, good luck.

I thought it sounded familiar.

So what's changed?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
