I called tonight... the automated number is 24/7 and you can talk to a live person until midnight (eastern time)... They didn't have my case yet and I was not really expecting them to have it.. I was told it would be 10-15 business days and to call back in a week since it has only been five... Which I will.. and maybe a few times in-between :)

well i got my noa2 last june 15 maybe its enough to wait already :D .. is this the number your calling 603 334-0700?

That's the number... For the first 10 business days they only have to put up with me every other day but at 10 business days I plan on being a daily thorn in their side. June 15th? uff! I'd start calling every day!

I've noticed recently that it seems to be taking longer for the NVC to get the information into their system.. Maybe with the USCIS speeding things up lately they have been a tad overwhelmed? who knows... I am really hoping to have everything down to Bogota by the end of July to have a shot at a September interview...

Out of USCIS June 14th here - still no case number =S

Should hear something by July 5th!

Mine left USCIS on 06/20. I'll probably start calling NVC on Wednesday for curiosity's sake. And as Darnell suggested, call around 10:00PM ET (yes PM) to obtain NVC case number.

03/22/11 - $420.00 check cleared bank

03/24/11 - Rec'd NOA1 via regular mail

06/23/11 - called USCIS- petition approved as of 06/20/11! Rec'd NOA2 hardcopy 06/23/11

*NVC JOURNEY* - 28 days - from case # assigned to SIF

07/20/11 - NVC Case # Assigned :-) yay!

07/21/11 - Obtained IIN

07/23/11 - Emailed DS3032 - accepted 07/27/11

07/26/11 - $88.00 AOS fee paid/print barcode 7/29

07/28/11 - $404.00 IV paid//print barcode 08/01

08/08/11 - Sent I-864EZ & DS230 via Fedex Overnite

08/09/11 - NVC rec'd AOS & DS230 @ 9:55am

08/17/11 - NVC SIF/Case Complete! Wooohoo!

Well, I didn't have anything better to do, so I called NVC. :devil:

You can check if NVC has received your case by calling 603-334-0700. This is an automated recorded message system available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week to answer case status inquiries.

1. English press 1 (spanish press 2)

2. Press 1 - for information on Immigrant Visa

3. Then it will ask if you have a CIS or INS number - press 1 for CIS

4. It then gives you the following choices--if your receipt or CIS number starts with:

EAC press 1

LIS press 2

SRC press 3

WAC press 4

My USCIS case number starts with WAC and after I entered the 10-digit number, recording stated "No record of your case number found." I knew its too soon for our petition to be in NVC's system. Going to try again next week :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I am assuming you are meaning the DS-230 :) The passport is a copy.. Everything else should be "originals"

So how long does it usually take for our docks to get from the USCIS to NVC?

History:

Husband and I were childhood friends (neighbors)

left the philippines when I was 6yrs old

Came back to the Philippines 2004 which we hanged out

1 year of courtship

2005 we became official

2006 went back to philippines for vacation

2010 went home to the Philippines March-September

March 4, 2011- Paralegal Mailed documents Chicago

March 8, 2011- Was received in Chicago

Priority Date- March 8, 2011

March 14, 2011- TOUCHED (according to uscis.gov)

March 18, 2011- Received NOA1 hardcopy (Priority date March 8, 2011)

June 15, 2011 - NOA2 (notification on 6/15, received hardcopy on 6/17)

July 16, 2011 - received case number, IIN

July 25, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

So how long does it usually take for our docks to get from the USCIS to NVC?

Per the lady at the NVC it can take 2-3 weeks... so she said by end of next week I should have our case number! :dance:

(As reference - NOA 2 on 14th of June)

So excited to start paying all the bills and sending paperwork... it feels like we're so close guys! =D :thumbs:

No news on my end.. But according to Igor's list, 2 march filers on VJ were approved out of CSC today. I hope you hear something soon! :)
