I am still waiting. My P1 was Mar. 16, 2011. No touch yet on my files. Hope to get the approval soon.

I have 250 CS WAC numbers in my portfolio on the USCIS site, all of them I-130s from the same day as mine (everything from WAC1190266900 to WAC1190267238 that is an I-130).. So these are all the same day and in sequential order. Everyday about 6pm the emails roll in from the USCIS site for the ones approved that day - kinda fun getting the list and seeing if my number is in it :). They never update during the day that I have seen other than for RFEs.

The first one of these from this date (march 1st ) to be approved was June 6th. There has been a minimum of 2 and a max of 17 in this group approved everyday since then. Of the 250 I started with there are 175 left. Today there was one RFE and 15 approvals so 159 left of the 250 when I clear out today's approvals/RFEs... so if your NOA1 was on this day you have a 1 in 3 chance that your petition has been approved.

The approvals have been in seemingly random order... At the current rate the march 1st days will not be done for another 10 working days - most likely as the numbers dwindle down the pace will be less so really another 3 weeks to have them 95% complete. Today the two WAC numbers next to mine were approved yet I could still be weeks out.

So... if you are waiting and wondering why people ahead of you are getting approved - we already know this but when they start working on a batch they really only do about 10-15 a day in that batch and the ones selected are completely random.. But each day the batch you are in gets smaller and your chances are ever increasing :)

... anyway I found it interesting though not overly helpful ;)

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

Haha. I got bored one day and searched about 100 case numbers before and after mine too and found that all the case numbers ending with even numbers within 10 digits of me were approved at the beginning of June, and all the odd numbers (including ours) were not! :bonk: and yes, the approvals seemed very random so I came to the same conclusion as you!

Anyway, congrats to all of you guys who have been approved! :)

Lol you guys are funny! OnMyWayID you have waaaay too much time on your hands

Good info though! I was searching yesterday and I found one approximately 1190297890 that was approved already too. So there are definately cases taken out of order when being processed. I guess it depends on the package. They probably go through them and pick out the easiest ones and work on the more difficult ones later. Or we can just chalk it up to typical government inconsistencies.:rofl::rofl:

We will all be with our spouses very soon! Good to see all of the approvals rolling in! Congrats!!!
