There have been a couple of febuary filers approved but to be honest I think it's probably a fluke lol. I don't think either of them had it expedited from what I've read.

Does anyone know any website for planning wedding? Like I could put a budget in and then sort out dates and plan things. We only signed the legal paper havent done the traditional ceremony with reception and anything. We want to do that when I'm there officially

The knot is a wedding planning website. I know that local business based on where you live can advertise so that may at least give you some ideas on where to start.

Hi Guys I don't think its a fluke.. For the last month it seems the times between NOA1 and NOA2 have been getting shorter.. At least for California. Look at the NOA2s for IR-1/CR-1 though Californai for the last two days below... The middle number is the NOA1, the last number is NOA2: 3 Feb dates and 5 late Jan NOA2 dates on Monday and Tuesday this week

We actually went for the K1 visa. I went with John just because I felt like it looked better to be together. It was really easy. The gal that we did the interview with was from the midwest like me so we did a bit of chatting about Minneapolis. She asked john about just meeting and things like that but it seriously took about 5 minutes. It was pretty basic. I worried a whole lot over nothing so I would say try not to stress too much about it because unless there is a real reason for you to worry I wouldnt. Deep down I firmly believe they've already made a decision for the most part before you even open your mouth. Only thing you can do is relax and answer the questions honestly...that's all!

I was scared if I answer them wrong my visa would get rejected!! I hope the embassy in Melbourne are nice. I haven't seen anyone in this forum is from Melbourne so I can't really ask for help.

Isn't there a sub forum for that area? I'm sure there has to be somewhere...Plenty of you folks on the website. John is really bad with phone numbers so I was a nervous wreck and we were going over the phone numbers about 1000 times the night before...but nothing was asked really lol. While I think there is A LOT of great information on this website I do sometimes think that there are plenty of topics and members who create this paranoia for others. I'm the first to admit that there have been times after reading stuff on here I've thought OMG! Like with visiting during the processes or even john coming in once we had the K1 and it was null/void everyone was saying oh he's going to have a really hard time getting in...he didnt. They did ask him questions and then told him not to stay which he didnt. The first time for us was a smooth process. I'm hoping this time is the same. Only time will tell but I'm not near as worried this time around and I don't get super excited seeing a few Feb people approved because as we can see from the rest of this week per igors time line nobody has been approved for 2 days lol. I'll get excited when WE are actually approved! Maybe I've just become numb to the process.

I guess because you've already been through the process and you know not to have hope up until your application is actually approve while others is their first time so they have hope when they see February filer's getting approve. I don't know if it should be a hope because there's 6 late approval for January, so it possible that ours might be late too. But I just want to gather all the information now and send my husband the necessary papers and not do the last minute things.

Sorry jkminney, Keep asking bothering you with questions.Just another thing I need to know when the case is forward to NVC and they send out the package that contains Of-169 form, and an Of-230 part one and two forms. When the beneficiary fill it out is that suppose to mail back to the NVC or the beneficiary's embassy??

I am a late Feb. filer and nothing yet, although I am expecting an RFE because I signed a form meant to be signed by my husband. I have the new one ready to go. I also requested an expedite but we'll see about that...some early Feb filers just got NOA2 this past week, so keep fingers crossed!
