problem is they shows that he made less in 07-08 than he did in 09

so do you think this will affect my case in anyway?

That's not a problem at all. You're not expected to make exactly the same every year.

My husband made more in 09 than he did in 07 - 08. Our embassy never even looked at the 07 - 08 they only looked at the 09. They are more interested in the current years
