hi everyone.

i'm in the process of getting together proof of domicile for our interview on april 1st. we got some stuff together, but I have a question.

We will be residing with my mother for our first few months there. My residence has always been there. but I have seen on here the embassy likes to have a rental contract. I have also read on here that sometimes they accept a letter from the relative saying it's okay if they live there, and sometimes they don't accept that. but.........

what if my mother made us a contract for us to live at her residence? do you think this would be a good idea? that way it just wouldn't be a letter from a relative, it would also be like a contract.

what's your thoughts on this? i'm very worried if I will have to be away from my wife again :crying:

A simple affidavit from your parent stating that you will be living with them ought to be sufficient.

If your mail (bank statements, CC bills, etc) have that address submit evidence of that. Also if your drivers license shows that address submit a photocopy. That ought to satisfy the requirements. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3183.html#3
