Hey everyone;

Been a few months since I've been around on VJ, but after 10 months, the interview is finally approaching! Here's what I have ready to go:

- passport

- $350 USD

- 4 US sized passport photos

- both letters of intent

- i134

- tax transcripts 07, 08, 09

- 2010 TurboTax tax return + W2s

- letter of employment

- pay stubs

- unsigned DS 230 (2 copies)

- DS-260 confirmation page

- medical results

- chest xray

- police certificate (plus copy)

- birth certificate (long version plus copy)

- updated DS-156K, as I had to send in an expired version with P4, stating I would bring an updated to my interview

- also all the relationship proof they could ask for - phone records, cards, emails, photos, boarding passes, passport stamps

- original i129F petition

- entire P4

One question..... my fiance did NOT check a box at the bottom of the i134, and just put "NA - k1 visa"... that's what the example form here has.

Has anyone in Montreal had problems with doing that; leaving the box unchecked??

Good luck to everyone who is interviewing this upcoming week!!!

Anything I am missing?!

I don't know why, but I am SO FREAKING ANXIOUS about this. I know we have nothing to hide and we have everything in order and we have a legitimate relationship.... I'm just so nervous! We've been waiting nearly 3 years to be together, so I don't want to mess it up.

Arg.

You will be ok - breath breath! Easier said then done, I know! You probably don;t need your xray, at least you didn;t used to - they're not Dr's, they can;t read xrays ;)

The interview will be over before you know it. You'll pay, they ask you a few questions and then you'll come out wondering why you worried so much! After 3 yrs together you've got solid proof of relationship!

Everything looks good to me! It's been a while since I had my K-1 interview, but it looks like you're prepared have more than enough information with you. Don't be surprised if they don't ask to see any of that relationship evidence.

I was really nervous too, it's completely normal. You'll look back after the interview on Tuesday and laugh at yourself for being so anxious, because it's much easier than you can imagine. Best wishes! :)

I have the same sickness as you: I can't help worrying, and I was a COMPLETE mess before my K-1 interview! Looks like you have everything, and like previously posted, don't be mad if they don't ask any evidence. I had so much gathered and they didn't ask for anything. But it's better to be safe than sorry!

Try to relax until tomorrow, go for walks, try to exteriorize, and before you know it, you'll be done and happy to be! I remember leaving the consulate thinking, 'man, everyone was right, I stressed out for NOTHING!'

Good luck, keep calm and everything will be ok!

Thanks, Vero! I have legit anxiety, so this has me in a ball of nerves, haha.... I'm trying not to be too worried, but I can't help but be worried at least somewhat! We have waited too long for this for me to ruin it somehow ... eeek!

I am leaving for MTL in a few hours, and staying with my sister there, so at least I won't be alone when I'm there!

I'll post my results Tuesday or Wednesday! Hopefully it's good news! Pray for us :)
