My fellow VJ people,the blessings of God has finally reach me and my fiancee,In less than 4 weeks from Noa1,we got our Noa2......God is wonderful and will always be....Thanks and God bless USCIS for understanding that am dying to hold my baby once again....is been 4 months and a week i last hold her and cant wait to hold her once again....she is the best woman in this life time....and she would always be.....see yaaaaaa :dance:aaaaaaaaaaa.... :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

OKAY NOA2 IS APPROVED....WHAT DO WE DO NEXT....PLS ADVISE......THANK YOU

Case now goes to Nvc call them in about 5 days they will give u ur new case number the case will be shipped to Lagos once it leaves NVC. You can start gathering all of ur supporting documents for the affidavit of support. You can also download pkt three and looking over the forms and filling them out. If u have more questions do ask and good luck!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Okay..we ar trying to get ready ahead of time........and make sure everything is done right....my question now is do we need to NOTARIZE my fiancee Tax return before taking it to the embassy or is it just okay the way it comes......... And my second question is my fiancee just e-file her 2009 tax return and printed the transcipt out but she didnt fianlly send it for further for her money to be paid to her....Reason becus her finances was okay and she wasnt worried about getting her money back as required but she is trying to just follow it up now......Is there going to be any issue with that if so,what do we do........Thanks so much VJ ......

Tax return does not need to be notarized and the tax transcripts from 2009 are fine they dont care if she actually got the refund or not also FYI you will need 2010 Taxes by the time you have ur interview u need the most recent tax return and by the time u have the interview it will be well past the deadline for 2010 taxes...... Good Luck :)

PLS HOW DO I GET MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE.......I LOST MINE WHEN I WAS STILL IN COLLEGE FEW YEARS AGO,HOW DO I GET THE REQUIRED BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR MY INETRVIEW AT THE LAGOS CONSULATE....THANKS.....WHICH OFFICE DO I GO AND WHAT DO I NEED TO PRESENT WHEN GOING TO THE OFFICE......THANKS :dance::dance::dance:

Go to the LGA where you were born to get a new copy . If you can't get one you can use a sworn statement from your parents ( or other respect person) and back it up with other items such as school records.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
