Hi VJ friends and members!

I am here to seek your good advise. I am in a state of dilemma about my marriage. I came to the United States last year with K1 Visa and we got married immediately I arrived in the States. Things was going well between us till few days after our AOS interview, she told me that she is no longer interested in the marriage. I thought it was a joke until when she ask me to leave her house.

She orderd me to go back to my country, though we are not yet divorced. I have been living with her since I came to the States. I just got my GC and EAD cards and she does not want me to work. She refused to open a joint account with me, also she refused to put my name on other bills. Now I'm living with my country man that I just met and I just got a job. I called her two days ago that I will be sending her money to pay some of the bills but she refused.

Dear friends and members, what will I do to remove condition on my GC card in next two years. What are the consequences on my own side, will the immigration send me back to my country at the end of two years?

Has something like this happened to anyone before. Please help.

Yeah you maybe need to find out if there are any other problems there with her medically and if not then file for divorce and Remove conditions yourself. Just make sure you document everything that you married in good faith and that she ended the marriage and asked you to leave. Have proof of all of this and am sorry this happened to you.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

You are in fine shape for removal of conditions on your own if you merely divorce her now. You have a green card and can work. She does not want to be married, so divorce her. Then you can apply on your own for removal of conditions and you will get the 10 year green card. No problem.
