Alright, when July filers were hitting 5 months with no NOA-2's they were making a lot of noise on here. August filers have been relatively quiet as well as September.

Let's make some noise September filers! We are tired of waiting and mad! How many of you have contacted your state representatives?! I wanna hear what everyone is doing.

Thanks for the support!

09/21/10 - I-129F Sent!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/28/10 - Text & E-mail NOA1 (It was at 12:44AM, weird) Notification that our case was transferred to VSC.

09/29/10 - Check cashed

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL

04/14/11 - Consulate Received Hard Copy of Case

Yeah, I tried this for the November filers. There is no sense of month-by-month community here, just an overall sense of community :) Which I guess is always good :)

I am with you! I sent in my application on September 2 and am ready to let out a war cry! I am tired of waiting and mad indeed!!

I put in a service request and contacted one senator a few days after I hit 5 months. The senator's office called me and said that my case was an assigned to an adjudicator and that they had 30 days to make a decision and I needed to sit tight until then. That was 23 days ago. Let me tell you, I am counting down the hours til Monday 3/14, which will be the first business day after day 30. I have drafted four copies of a very long and detailed letter that I plan to send out bright and early next Saturday morning (day 30) if I don't hear this week. One to my Congressman, two to my Senators, and one to the Ombudsman. That way, they will probably reach the offices on Monday. I also expect to spend much of that day making calls to everyone. Might I hear this week? Maybe. But I have lost all faith in the deadlines they give. Every week I think it will be the week, and it never is. I am physically incapable of sitting here and doing nothing.

I know there are tons of other disgruntled September filers out there - let's here it!!

Fofochinho73: We are September filer. My fiance called up many times. They told him that we have to wait another 30 to 45days after hitting 5months mark and if we don't receive any feedback within 45days, that's the time we have to call them again. I don't know if anyone out there received the same statement.

What shall we do? Storm the Bastille and break out the guillotine? Not a bad idea, except that it would make an awful mess out of everyone's papers.

I'm all for it. Here is what I posted on another thread here...

My NOA1 date is September 9, 2010. Last touched on October 3, 2010. I just got off the phone. The customer service guy confirmed that the "normal processing time" was 5 months as stated online and on their internal database, and so he was about to process an expedite request. Then, all of a sudden, he was told that he is unable to process since the Vermont Service Center has now changed the "normal processing time" and I need to wait 17 more days (i.e., March 25) before I am considered to be outside of the "normal processing time".

The conclusion.. 197 days is now the "normal processing time" at VSC.

Like everyone else, I'm supremely frustrated. I know people that work for this agency...come late, leave early, and spend half the day joking with colleagues... with no care about the heartache and suffering of thousands of people who must wait and wait due to their lack of diligence. And they want collective bargaining rights.. ha!
