A lot will have to change in less than 40 years. Besides, down here, you have the coastlines where you have concentrated populations and then there's Orlando. Aside from that city, the inland is fairly empty. Lots of gators and swamps but not much more.

Here men can not were plain colored shirts (black, red, blue, white.....) into a bar at night, they won't let you in... or for the redneck gang banger (HA!) you can not wear sleeveless t-shirts...cuz obviously that means your a hardcore troublemaker... you also cannot wear your pants to baggy or your hat sideways..(dumbasses... didn't there daddy's ever show them the proper way to wear a hat? is it that hard really? Hint guys: the long bill lookin thingy goes in the front and no you don't even begin to look like your cool when its sideways...YOU LOOK LIKE A MORON...what a turn off...)

Sorry, but there is no city in KS that offers culture. You'd have to go to another state for that.

Lawrence is nothing but a college town and looks like it was dropped from an airplane and landed wherever.

And this review of Topeka is just weird. The first and second paragraphs seem to be talking about two different places:

The most interesting thing I discovered is that there is very little understanding or appreciation for the "collective good". The attitude in the state is a kind of extreme libertarianism where any attempt to harness collective resources is vehemently resisted, even to the point of creating bigger problems for the state. As such, services are limited, the physical surroundings are often neglected and allowed to fall into decline, and people out of the mainstream suffer disproportionately. Perhaps the hardest part for me is dealing with the pervasive anti-intellectualism. It is almost considered a crime to be well educated and often results in social ostracism and derision.

Most of the crime in Topeka is non-violent, petty theft. There is a culture of thievery that flourishes here despite the outward appearance of religiosity. On some level, it is just considered OK to steal from your neighbors.
