I129F in Dallas: No email, no NOA1

Hi there. This is my first post here.

I received the NOA-1 about 2 weeks after submitting my wife's I130 package (it was forwarded to California). I also received an e-mail, as requested, a few days after having mailed the package to the Chicago Lockbox.

I then sent out my I129 (by regular mail) on February 5 to the Dallas Lockbox. A month later and I have received no e-mail, no NOA-1, and no returned-to-sender package (addressed very carefully obviously). I'm now starting to worry that something has gone wrong. Is there any way to find out if Dallas has received my package? I think it is time to get proactive on this.

Thanks.

If you are married then you are not filing a K-1

If you are saying you filed an I-129F to get a K-3 visa, good luck, it will slow down your I-130 now bcause they will have to match up the files and the NVC will CLOSE the K-3 and you will continue with the CR-1.

K-3 is no longer processed at NVC and is in the process of being phased out.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Well, that's another discussion and too late to do anything about it now. Information on my original question (I129F, not I129: my mistake) would be appreciated.

If you didnt track the package, there is no guarantee. I would suggest calling up the USCIS and seeing if they have input it into their systems yet!

Just a (resolution) update: Turns out USCIS had my wife's I-129F package all the time. They just forgot to send an e-mail, and forgot to mail out the NOA-1 for the I129F. (The NOA-1 was dated for February 14.)

If you call USCIS, they will tell you that you need to wait 30 days after you mail something for them to consider it missing enough to warrant their taking a look. USCIS's "confirmation e-mail" to me arrived in my inbox at 1:20 a.m. of the 30th day after I mailed the package out. Coincidence?
