Packet 3 and Medical

Hi everyone,

Just received my packet 3 yesterday, made my medical appointment today which is for the 22nd March. I'm currently just waiting for my fiancee to send the affidavit of support to me, which I should have in the next few days and I have the rest of the forms ready to send to the US Consulate in Ireland. Do I have to wait until after the medical to submit these forms to get my interview date?

Nope you can go ahead and send it off whenever you're ready. We just wrote on our cover letter when we had the medical booked for and that we were ready to go with all of the paperwork for the interview.

Congrats on the interview approval, two thumbs up ! Feel like I should be better prepared for this stage seeing as I've been waiting since last August, I'd love to make it over to the US by mid April in order to be able to attend a friend's wedding over there. So once I have these forms filled out I can send everything including the Notification of Readiness to the embassy. What did you put in the cover letter other than the date of the medical? Exciting times!

Yeah for the cover letter we just wrote the date of the medical, that we had completed all of the required forms, had acquired the police cert and the necessary supporting evidence. We just kept it simple.
