How does he know that, he probably only know what he does on a daily basis. Will he be there when another CBP denied you entry on a given day? Please don't count on advice given by a CBP as a SME.

That's one of the main reasons they instigated the NEXUS program. There are special commuter lanes where we can bypass the regular Customs & Immigration lanes. In fact, there's a dedicated commuter bridge connecting New York State to Ontario which only NEXUS subscribers can use.

They have all been fairly knowledgeable about the immigration process whenever I've spoken to them. Some have their own sets of rules though if you catch them on a bad day.....
