It has been 15 days since my NOA2, my case is "in the building" but I still don't have an NVC number. After being told to wait 15 days they just tell me to wait "another week, another 2 weeks, etc.". I feel like I'm back at the Texas Service Center. Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to wait it out like TSC?

Thanks for any help, kind regards

Strange you don't have a number yet. I got my NOA2 on Feb. 8 and I received my new number the day it came to the NVC. Many people have been in and out of the center in 1 to 4 days..but no I am still there. My case got there on the 16 and I have been calling to see if it left NVC and all they can tell me is that I 'have to wait'. I need 'additional processing' NOA2 felt great now I have this terrible waiting feeling again with no answers. I would give them a call again. Some of the operators are very nice and helpful, but others are TERRIBLE.....wish you well and let's get out of the NVC already

I'm confused. Your timeline would suggest a normal time from from TSC to NOA1. Where did TSC send your initial package by the way? California or Vermont?

My I-130 began at CSC, then went to TSC, then went to CSC, then returned to TSC and was then approved.

I`ve called the NVC various times and got responses of wait 1 week, wait 4-6 weeks, etc. Am I victim to the same lies that USCIS gave me or is there something I can proactively do to get my NVC number? Or just wait?....

NVC is being a little slow with uploading files into their system it seems.

It took 2 weeks for mine show up when I called them so you know it was just sitting in their mailroom!

Keep calling thats what I did.
