hello everyone im new here im from tunisia and happy married to canadian,the age diference between us is 39 years but we are in love,we got married during the revolution here in tunsia and with everything that was going on we stayed together and i took care of her and made sure nothing is gona happens to her and she stayed here for a month,now after she went back to canada we wanted to start the sponsorship application,and everything seemed impossible for us to be together in canada,people were telling her negative stuff,lawyers said its hard cuz of the age difference,whats left now? i suggested for her to come and live here but she didnt like that idea cuz she has a family in canada..please any advices or suggestions for us? im loosing sleep,i keep on thinking how bad are laws and how we are going to be together and when...i would appreciate any help from u guys

there is no visajourney for canadians i have looked everywhere for informations but could only find this website useful

May I suggest you try the Immigration section of Yahoo Answers. There are several Canadians on there who may be able to better guide you.

the age does not make a difference,but 39 years your having loving relationship may raise a red flag at some consulates just be prepaired to answer a lot of questions at the interview,the first thing they think she is useing you for a green card, how is your health, how old is she,what does her family think,does she have children,ans so on,if she makes you happy, you love each other i realy hope all goes smooth for you and you get approved, good luck,

The OP is from Tunisia and the spouse is the Canadian - at least that's how I read it so 'she' is not using the OP for a GC, she's Canadian :)

To the OP - if your plans are to move to Canada, then you probably should look for a website geared towards that, this site is for people emigrating to the US. Since neither you nor your spouse are from the US, this forum probably isn't much help.
