Hi all. My wife has about 6 months (August 18th is the start of the Semester) at the limit to get her CR-1. If we get all our ducks in a row, and submit our I-130 in the next two weeks. Do you all think it's possible that she'll get it by early August? If anyone out there has been through Paris or is in the process of it, I'd appreciate all your advice/help.

What happens after six months?

It will be too late for the person to enroll in school classes is what they are saying, so, they want to know if they will be finished DCF in Paris before that time so they have time to start school and not have to wait a whole year to start.

Yeah, she's received an assistantship where we'll be studying. We have to be there a few days before August 18th. We're filing our I-130 the 18th of March. We've already started getting our documents ready for the Packet 2.

I don't have any advice for you yet as I haven't started the process but from what I can tell on this website filling via DCF doesn't take too long. Good luck! And let us know how it goes, we'll be filling after our wedding in June and might have some questions of our own!

02/2008 Met while USC was studying abroad

07/2009 USC moved to France

07/14/2010 engaged

06/24/2011 wedding in France

will apply via DCF after wedding
