The only reason why oil prices are so high and why it's being treated like a commodity in the past few years like it has been, is because the value of the US Dollar has gone to pure #######.

He's right, actually. Oil fundamentals do not support oil prices of $100+ per barrel -

they are driven by "speculators". I put the word "speculators" in quotes because the

so-called "speculators" are regular investors, pension funds and mutual funds investing

in oil futures and ETFs. Why? Because oil is a good investment with a deflating

dollar. Barrels of crude are priced in US dollars so when the dollar goes down,

foreign currency naturally buys more.
