Medical Exam for AOS

Hello All,

My wife has her AOS appointment on October 5, 2006 and on the checklist we have NOA it says that she needs a medical exam. It also says unless other wise submitted. My question is...She took a medical exam in Manila for the K-1 Visa and then at Los Angeles (POE) immigration took the sealed enevolop from her which contained her medical results. We have her chest x-rays...IS THIS THE MEDICAL REPORTS THERE WANT AT THE AOS INTERVIEW OR DO WE NEED ANOTHER ONE?

Called USCIS and the person I talked to had no idea....

Please help...

Appointment is 10/05

If we need another the civil Surgeon is booked until 11/01

She has already submitted the medical at POE.... if you read the guide about doing AOS it tells you there about the medical and the vaccination suppliment that she needs to get from a Civil Surgeon here in the states....

If your wife's visa medical exam was less than 1 year old when she submitted her I-485 then she should not need a new medical exam - unless the forms from the visa exam went missing from the file. That would be rare, but it can happen.

She may need something newer than the visa medical exam with respect to vaccination documentation.

If it's the USCIS National Customer Service Center that you called, they would have no idea. No one there has ever seen your wife's file or has any access to it.
