Original or Copy of Certificate of Citizenship?

Hey guys, I have a question concerning the I-129F instructions for showing proof of US Citizenship(became US Citizen through my parents).

Do I include the ORIGINAL Certificate of Citizenship or can I simply include a COPY of my Certificate of Citizenship?

On the instructions it states that they need the ORIGINAL Certificate of Citizenship, but I only have one certificate. I would hate to send off my ORIGINAL and not get it back in the process. Since I may need it for future references.

Yep, getting ready to file the I-129F right now.

I plan to be at my fiancee's interview, so I can bring the original with me. Do I get it back at the end or do they keep it?

Also, thanks for the info!

No originals necessary at this stage. I guess you are filing the I-129?

You need to have the original for the interview, but only send copies of all the official stuff and keep the originals for the interview.
