My previous thread was provocative, I guess. (I'd post a link to it but I'm on a mobile platform that hates cut-and-paste).

See, I posted that message after having just read some other locked or censored thread, some groupthink, I don't remember, and I was reacting... because I hate political correctness.

Anyway, I'm just proud of my wife, she's truly amazing, and I seized the opportunity to post photos. My wife is so feminine, so not-Western. Don't get me wrong, I love America, but I think we've screwed up our women. Thank God for beautiful ladies who don't wan to be men! If that's "objectifying" well whatever. I'm not weak enough to care.

BTW yes Vicky did bring her dog to the US. Short story: we were at Kyiv Borispol and had fully prepared the Ukrainian airline for our flight-with-dog, but at the counter the dog was denied. So Russian! My girl was hysterical, she didn't know what to do, and issued the ultimatum (to me): "Go on without us!" I refused to do that, of course. Icelandic volcano bedamned, I bought business class tickets on another airline. An hour later we were en route to JFK. This sweet girl just needs someone to solve her problems.

It's not so hard to find the girl of your dreams. You just have to be the man of her dreams! Thanks to this forum for providing us invaluable information. And thanks to member for contacting me!

You Sir have made us all on the RUB forum proud, and I tip my hat to you. All I can say is congrats ...and your wife is a total knockout! She is living proof that the RUB country's produce the hottest and sexiest women in the world...bar none. :)

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

we had the same problem with a dog AND a cat. It cost us a $100 bribe, but that's all. The dog and cat came along and I can report they seem as happy as can be in the USA.

Liked your photos. Thanks!

Kira flew out of Kyiv and not Minsk and we didn't find out until a few weeks before she was due to fly out that Ukraine airlines wouldn't take her cat for the fact Air France had the tickets (seat) on the Ukrainian airlines...both allowed pets, but they didn't have a deal between the two of them. So anyways it cost me like $800 to fly that damn cat from Minsk to Anchorage...the cat went solo from Minsk to Chicago where Kira picked it up at and then off to Anchorage. It was a bloody nightmare.

This is why I carry concealed handguns. Cats are free at the shelter.

Seriously, we had more damn trouble with the animals than the people! And we thought we had the animals all worked out. We had a non-stop flight from KBP to JFK so I suppose that helped and made it easier for a bribe to settle things.

On Kira's pecking order...I sit somewhere between the cat (above me), and shoes...not sure in what order as far as me and the shoes go, but if it came down to her having to choose me or that cat...my money's on that cat.

I know the feeling. Only with Alla, it is the dog. The cat is kind of a non-entity. The cat is entirely a loner. Rarely wants or needs any attention at all. A few months ago it went down in the basement and rarely comes out. We moved her food and litter box down there, and there she is. It is an unfinished basement (so far) and she hides in the ductwork, etc. Lots of places to climb and hide out.

She only wants to come out when she is in heat so the dog (a pekinese about the same size as the cat and also a female) can engage in constant inter-species lesbian sex with the cat.

My thought..."They are Ukrainian women." Alla's thought..."Thats why we moved to Vermont."

Your lucky that cat's a loner. This damn cat craves attention. And I sh*t you not, it has it's own "passport". I didn't even know animals could get a passport until I saw this one. Kira doesn't let the cat go outside, especially with all the eagles around here...they pick off cats and small dogs every chance they get. When we get into it all I say to her is; "how about I let kitty go outside and play with the eagles". That usually (well sometimes) stops her bitching right there on the spot...that or it pisses her off more.

When my wife and I took our sick cat to the vet and he informed us it would be around $600 to run some tests, she asked how much it would be to put it down. "About $45 for the shot."

She said, "Why we must pay $45 when we have .45 at home?"

You're good for something... buying her more shoes!

It's like my wife told me when I told her I had a $10,000 insurance policy. "I not will be kill you for $10,000... you can work for 30 more years and make for me million dollars."

I'll admit....I don't get this whole objectifying women thing. Just because we celebrate the beauty of RUB women does not mean we don't value them for anything else! Fact is, the beauty is just the tip of the iceberg. It's only ONE of the many advantages to RUB women.

I try to avoid putting down American women as a whole...there are some really great ones out there...they are usually married...or so elusive that it's simply easier to travel halfway around the world. Everyone has their own likes/dislikes/opinions...for me, a RUB woman was exactly what I was looking for.

As far as cats and dogs goes...add me to the list of those that had to pay an unofficial payment to get my wife's cat and dog from Ukraine to the USA. It was either that or "pick which one we wanted to take". I was so happy to know that was my last unofficial payment to get someone just to do their job. That said, I wish USCIS *did* take unoffical payments so I could finally get some results from them.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!
