Our noa2 is dated july 1st, so is it worth bugging nvc at this poibt or should we wait a few nore days. Thabks for the welcome guys. Congrats dante, its.a great feeling isnt it!

Hi rugby-guy - my NOA2 was dated 28th June and I started calling them from about 5 days on; on 11th they confirmed receipt of the docs but said it hadn't been processed yet and that it could take 2 weeks before it is sent out. I called back on the 12th anyway and was given my London case number and told it's leaving NVC the same evening and from DHL I gather that is has been physically received in London on Friday, 15th July.

You as the beneficiary can call, just make sure you have the USCIS case number handy and I presume you know your SO's full name and DOB by heart anyway. I think it's worth to give them a ring so you can set up your medical appointment with Knightsbridge doctors for which you will need your case number and if that's any help - Skype out costs 1.4 c / min to call the NVC line, if you want to take that route.

I just used their normal number 1-603-334-0700 then option 1 for English and then option 5 to speak to an operator; K1 visa from what I gathered from this site don't get logged into the automated system. Until they have your case they will tell you to call back after 15 business days but they are friendly enough so I just kept calling back every day Be prepared to either be on hold for 10 min or call early morning / late at night (EST time) to minimize hold time.

It's the same number that you used to track your status on the USCIS website - if you did so. Should start with either EAC or WAC. Hope you'll get good news

I was surprised the website was actually updated right away,my girl called me telling me that she received a text where it was stated that our case was updated,so I logged in immediately to see if It wasn't an RFE. . .what a relief to see that "approved".

Btw M&N,how is it going with NVC? any news?

I totally understand you! I was freaked out because I didn't sent my hubby-to-be my intention letter so I was kinda hoping a RFE!! But I guess it all went well for us!!! Keep braiding people! And if that doesn't work out, just have a YOU conversation with Him. So I did last night before I went to bed! And it turned out just fine!! lol!!

Since Thea got such awesome results after giving me that advice I think I better try it - ok what was that again, bloody mary while braiding hair and spinning around at 11:11... ???

You're welcome... no nothing yet from NVC, they might be on summer break! :angry: but we're hoping that this week we'll get the case number so I can totally annoy the consulate to try to get an early date!!!

Just got off the phone with NVC, they mailed out our package to London on July 15th. things are starting to pick up in terms of pace now. Any one filing from London have any idea how long it takes for them to receive the info?

Normally it is, and most people get the NOA2 really quick once you send in what they want. Fingers crossed for you!
